Guided Reverie - Our Spiritual Transportation

In our last article we began a basic view of the structure of our spiritual reality. We also briefly touched on our senses and how we, mostly unknowingly, use them to concentrate our focus in the reality of our choosing. In this article we seek to give you a beginner's course in how to consciously or intentionally choose which of your realities to travel and investigate.

For the most part, most people are unaware of certain actions they take to cause the shift. Being unaware it is something that can be a matter of choice, many people fear the great unknown of our mental and spiritual realities. Not realizing we can choose can make it perceived as dangerous. And yet, there are easy, simple steps we can take to gently and comfortably learn about ourselves.

For those that are willing to make the effort to learn, there are wondrous discoveries. We will come to have very powerful and valuable skills that can greatly improve the quality of our lives. It makes no difference whether we are believer or atheist or agnostic; whether we are Christian, Moslem or Jew. We can use the new insights and skills to improve and expand the beliefs of our choosing.

One of the keys to the use of Guided Reverie as a programing tool rather than just another name for meditation is that of imagination. For this, we suggest an exercise. In this exercise you will need to begin with the relaxing exercises as described in our last article, followed by the breathing exercises. When you have done that we suggest that you explore one of the simpler perceptions and all of its sensory connotations or tags. To make it easy and quickly productive we suggest you work on creating fruit in your mental reality. Begin with a lemon. Imagine it in all the detail you can muster. We will give you a "leg up" for the first effort. Imaging that you are holding in your hand a lemon, a beautiful, bright yellow, fully ripe lemon. Notice the pores on the skin, how you can see tiny beads of moisture coming from them. Notice the delightful fresh scent and how you can actually feel the essence oils as you hold it. Imagine bringing it to your nose to enjoy the delightful aroma. Now imagine the lemon has been sliced in half and you have both halves in your hand. Bring it to your mouth and touch it with your tongue; first the skin to taste the oils so heavy and rich . Then allow your tongue to touch the fruit inside. Just a touch, you seek to catch the delicate
