Sea Changes

Humpty Twiddle
And
Swimming Fish

I am talking about a great wish
We are looking at something swish
For this month's article

Hey kids?

Have you been wondering where I have been?
Did you think I was getting mean?
I didn't write to you on time it seems
Have you wondered what had happened?

Twiddling you fingers
All this while
I have got something
That will make you smile
Will you forgive me for my absence?

You should see
Where I have been,
It's been like living in a dream!
Together with friends
Been making the biggest scene,
That you can imagine!

I've been with mates out by the coast,
There the kind of buddies
About which you would boast,
I really treasure their friendship the most
Do you appreciate your friendships?

Humpty Didle
And
Humpty Tile

Together we rustling up a wall,
It took a long time to start at all,
We just don't know how long it will take us,
So when we finish
We will smile
We will call it a miracle!
And that will be just fabulous!

Would you like to see our scene?

Humpty Didle
And
Humpty Smash

We smashed up those tiles now
Crash, Crash, Crash!
We hit them with a hammer
Bash, Bash,Bash!
Until they were quite little.
Bigger

Don't you laugh now
Don't be mean,
No funny comments until you have seen
Our amazing finished product!
Humpty Didle
And
Humpty Tile

You might be waiting the longest while
Will you be patient and see our tiles?
It is a ceramic mural artwork.

We've been smashing tiles
In the greatest haste
Not too quick though
Haste makes waste!
Gluing tiles with special paste
To 'Besser Blocks' that were ugly

They were cold and they were gray
They will be beautiful soon I would say
That's what we are planning anyway
Will you join us on our journey?

Be understanding of our masterpiece of work
(Don't you tease now - don't you smirk!)
If you can't see a sea scene yet ???????
From the beginning work,
Well then "Use Your Imagination!"
Humpty Didle
And
Humpty Art

Let's get this straightened right from the start
While I am out working you best do your part
So that we all get some learning
Humpty Diddle
And
Humpty Doo

Get your self some cardboard

Clap, clap, clap. I may be a bit 'long in the tooth', but I'm a kid at heart. Loved this Jo.
