The Realm of Alternate Tunings

Be aware that winding your tuning pegs up and down frequently will be hard on your strings and in time your guitar. If you have more than one guitar (which most of us do), use your "beater" guitar to play with tunings. You'll find that you worry less and "play" more this way. In your musical excursions, may you always remember: "Someone saying something meaningful with an acoustic guitar can break down a lot of walls, more so than someone with a stack of Marshalls." - John Rzeznik
