still remains a hopeful project. Lexi said her manager Jai is really excited and supportive of it, saying that they are going to give the feature script another polish and go from there. Lexi also wanted to pass along some final words to the people in Birmingham, Alabama where Johnny Flynton was filmed. "To all my friends in Birmingham, thanks for all the support and love. I wished I would have been able to holler you a greeting from up on stage like I had planned." We wished we could have heard that holler from the stage ... maybe you'll get your chance real soon. I want to thank Lexi Alexander for being so generous with her time during her Oscar Experience the past few weeks to share her insights, reflections, and thoughts, and always being available for my interviews. I hope through this series we've been able to get a different portrait of what the Academy Awards experience is like for those not in the immediate public arena, and all my best wishes to Lexi, Dash, Alex, and the rest of her crew as they embark on their next projects. And with that, Oscar 75 goes into the history books, another film awards season completed. For me now, that means some much needed time away from my internet ventures, and scaling back my articles here at Suite 101. Not to worry, I'll be here at least once or twice a month with news on the next film awards season and of course the various trends in the films for 2003. But as most of you know, I'm an aspiring filmmaker myself, and I have two screenplays in my head that have to be written ... I've put them off long enough. So I must dedicate myself to that, and I'll be back for a new article in May. And you can always find me on the message board at my website, www.oscarworld.net. And when it all comes time to do this again, of course I will be back with the continual film awards and Oscar season news, discussion, and predictions.
