The Sexiest or Most Erotic Sequences in Film History: Part 3
John Travolta's wife has become more well known since this early film, but a lot of people may not know that she appeared nude in a wonderful sequence in this little known 1985 film. It's a wonderful little film of the innocence of the 1950's, as we see the story of a young man named Jonathan, played by Doug McKeon, and his search for love. His innocence is on wonderful display in this very sexy sequence, where Marilyn, played by Preston, invites him over to her house when her parents are out of town. The two slowly undress each other, until they stand in the room facing each other dressed only in their underwear. Preston then slowly removes her bra, taking it down slowly to reveal her breasts. McKeon reaches forward to touch her breasts, and the two finally get in bed. It's actually a very humorous sex scene, as Preston soon discovers McKeon forgot to bring protection. That humor provides a wonderful mix to an already sexy scene.
13) Michael Douglas and Glenn Close having sex in an elevator in FATAL ATTRACTION (1987)
This of course was one of the seminal films of the 1980's, a film which can still send fear into the hearts of any man who ever thought of cheating on their wives. Of course, this film tells the story of a married man, played by Douglas, who has a torrid affair with Glenn Close when his wife, played by Anne Archer, is out of town. As we all know, Close's character becomes obsessive, and the film becomes a classic thriller of what happens when this woman's obsession becomes too overwhelming. One side note ... the alternative ending to this film, which can be seen on a special VHS edition of the film currently (hopefully, a DVD will arrive soon), makes this film so much more better than the bathtub shooting ending which a test audience chose instead. But that aside, the sequence when Douglas and Close have sex in an elevator is still incredibly erotic, and deserves mention on this list. By this encounter, they have already had sex once, in Close's apartment. Director Adrian Lyne films the scene in wonderful shafts of light, as Douglas tears off Close's dress to suck on her breasts, and the quick editing of them in the elevator makes for an incredibly erotic encounter.
