The New York Film Critics Circle Awards Announced© Nicholas Moreau
Dec 2, 2004
The New York Film Critics Circle will vote on, then announce its 70th winners on Monday, December 13th. The prestigious awards will be handed out at the historic Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan on Sunday, January 9th. "2004 has been a solid if not spectacular year," says Vice Chair and film critic, Us Weekly, Thelma Adams. "While it doesn't look to have the hair-pulling excitement of the Yankees vs. Red Sox face-off overall, the heat this year is centered in the leading man category, with at least nine performances that will be strongly considered when we vote on December 13th."
