I recently received an email announcing a new web site with a cool domain name: TotallyJewish.com. Since the sites proclaims itself to be "Everything Jewish for Everyone Jewish," I just had to check it out. Here's what I found:
- The front page is exciting and inviting, showcasing a wide variety of topics related to Jewish life. Some of the subject include: Weddings, Parenting, Business, Food, Travel, Bridge, Dating, and Football.
- The site comes out of the United Kingdom, aiming to reflect the increasing diversity of the Jewish community and celebrating the growing role of the Internet in Jewish life.
- TotallyJewish offers several "bookmarkable" resources, such as Shabbat start times, news from Israel, online stores, and insight on the week's Torah portion.
- Newlyweds and brand new parents can announce the details of their joyful milestones on the site, for free.
- TotallyJewish welcomes your voice. On their "To Get Involved" page, they ask for submissions and ideas. And, they have several available jobs in Web Development, Quality Assurance, and Journalism/ Editing.
