This week, September 14th through the 20th, is the National Infertility Awareness Week. RESOLVE is hosting several events throughout the United States and online activities to raise awareness of infertility. The theme of this year's awareness week is "Secrecy and Infertility: How it Affects Relationships, Treatment and Legislation."
Some of the online events that are being hosted this year include RESOLVE's 2nd Annual Online Infertility Conference in collaboration with WebMD. On September 17th, from 1 to 6 pm EST five separate topics will be hosted.
- 1pm - Medical Causes of Miscarriage with Dr. Arthur Wisot
- 2pm - Treating Male Factor Infertility with Dr. Robert Oats
- 3pm - Donor Related Family Building Options with Linda Applegarth, EdD
- 4pm - Infertility Treatment with Dr. Eric Surrey
- 5pm - Age and Fertility with Dr. Amos Grubeman
RESOLVE will be hosting a variety of online chats, and you can see what is scheduled, as well as reading transcripts of past chats, here.
RESOLVE also has local chapters throughout the United States. These chapters will be hosting local educational events, and you can find out what is happening in your area by going here and looking for your local chapter.
If you are not a member of RESOLVE, now is a great time to consider membership. RESOLVE does so much for so many, and you can learn more about this national non-profit group through their website.
