It is the dog days of summer for the invincible Boy George sans Culture Club. He started a European DJ tour on August 10th in Brighton, England, goes through Spain, Ireland and Wales. He returns to England to end the tour on December 8th in Newcastle.

Compliment to his tour dates, Boy George has released a self-titled DJ Remix album called BoyGeorgeDJ.com earlier this week. The album is a double CD set that features his DJ'ing style and his musical preferences. It is off the label, TrustTheDJ.

He also a turned into a semi-playwright...possibly. As per Boy G, "I've been helping with the casting and the storyline. It's based on the New-Romantic period and it's quite autobiographical. It's gonna be pretty intimate, like Cabaret or Rocky Horror". The musical is called Taboo will be staged in the intimate Notre Dame Hall, off London's Leicester Square.

It seems the former Culture Club singer has a number of things on his plate include a new talk show in the UK. Digital channel Play UK will have George host his own show called Icons and he will interview fashion and music celebrities.

His solo career has taken off since 1987 in the UK but has remained amazingly static in the US. He turned that around in 1992/93 with his hit "The Crying Game" from the movie of the same name.

He also recorded previously under the names Jesus Loves You and E-Zee Posse. He has also released his 1995 autobiography Take It Like A Man. As for news of Culture Club, there is none. Boy George is now focusing on his talent as a DJ.
