Christmas Music From Various '80s Musicians

The Christmas season has come around the corner; so it's time to start checking out holiday CDs. Now, how many of those are Eighties' artists?
Weirdly enough, one is not an eighties' artist and it is instrumental - but it's darn good, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Amazing stuff. Onward to which this column is all about.
Cyndi Lauper has a 1998 Christmas CD out called " Merry Christmas and Have A Nice Life". She recently appeared on the Rosie O'Donnell show to promote it.
Another holiday CD is a benefit one entitled "A Very Special Christmas" from a few years ago. It has powerhouse eighties' artists to the tunes of The Pointer Sisters, Eurythmics, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen/The E Street Band (live), Sting, Run-D.M.C., U2, Madonna, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi and Stevie Nicks. This is one CD for every '80s music collector.
'N Sync is not an eighties' band, but they should be, their Christmas CD called "Home For Christmas" should also be on the listening list.
A few more double appearances by Bruce Springsteen/E Street Band, Cyndi Lauper and Gloria Estefan are on the Superstar Christmas" CD.
Rockers Chicago have a CD out called "Chicago 25".
Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine has their "Christmas through Your Eyes".
Wham! has returned with a slew of Greatest Hits packaging and all of them include "Last Christmas", one of those packages entitled " Music From The Edge of Heaven" is out now.
