DEM BONES' REVENGE is the second book in Kris Neri's Tracy Eaton series and it is absolutely delightful. Tracy Eaton is a mystery writer with eccentric movie star parents and the combination is hilarious. I loved the Hollywood area setting, the unusual and interesting characters, the twists and turns of a well-done mystery, and everything else in this book. It's the most fun I've had in ages and I'm looking forward to going back and reading the first book, and any other book that comes out in this series in the future.
In DEM BONES REVENGE Tracy is facing being dropped by her publisher (any writers ultimate nightmare) while being dragged into the middle of a murder mystery by her mother who is the primary suspect of the police. The mystery is filled with unexpected twists and turns that nearly drive Tracy crazy. Her house is being remodeled and in total chaos, just like her life. Tracy's husband, straight arrow lawyer Drew, tries to keep her and her mother out of trouble without much success; playing Ricky to Tracy's Lucy.
