As we all know, in the war for online coverage, any friend of Microsoft is a friend of yours. Unless, of course, you don't buy into the "if you can't beat 'em, why not join 'em" mentality.
For those towing the straight and narrow, eCollege is a cornicopia of resources, combining everything from information on online programs, degrees and even scholarships to articles, news and links for educators building their own online curriculums. Over 100 universities are now offering 500 courses through eCollege. The deal with Microsoft is assisting faculty by providing them with courses on using PowerPoint 2000 and Office 2000, through Microsoft's own online campus. These courses are aimed at making profs better administrators of online-classroom content.
