Ok Ok...maybe its not as easy as doing your laundry. Here's something to help, courtesy of Robin Eames.
http://www.stedwards.edu/cte/idesign.htm This workshop is a four part exercise to help you determine the best online curriculum for youself or your students.
The first part of the workshop helps you to develop goals, understand learner characteristics and construct objectives for learning in your "classroom." The second part guides your design of a sample rubric, for measuring of student learning. In the third part, you will develop a checklist for student self-assessment. Finally, the fourth and last step helps you to structure a sample group project. This project's objectives are threefold: providing incentices to work as a team; holding individuals accountable for contributing to group work; and requiring individual mastery of the skills or content covered.
A sample assignment for implementing these skills is also included. This is it; I promise. Here is a workshop that makes designing online curriculums as quick and painless as the rinse cycle.
