Antisocial Personality
Although Antisocial Personality Disorder is undiagnosable prior to a person’s 18th birthday, the signs and symptoms are present long before a child reaches adulthood.
The behaviors associated with the disorder pose a serious problem in the home, at school, in the workplace and in the community. A child exhibiting severe antisocial behaviors may be diagnosed with Conduct Disorder, which can potentially develop into Antisocial Personality later in life.
Adults and children may exhibit serious signs of antisocial behavior, whether due to a personality disturbance or other factors. Those with sociopathic and psychopathic (not to be confused with psychosis) personalities also exhibit antisocial behaviors.
Here you will find information on antisocial behaviors and how to best manage specific behaviors.
