Animal Testing
Animal Testing
Animal testing is a highly charged issue, with many aspects to consider. Why should animals suffer for the convenience of humans? If new drugs were not tested on animals they might be found dangerous when given to humans. If surgical procedures were not tested on animals we may not be able to have transplants. Would you want to use a shampoo that has caused pain to a puppy? Would you want your child given a drug that had not been tested? Tests on some animals are beneficial to other animals. National laws apply to all animal testing.
In Suite 101 Animal Testing articles about these concepts and more can be found.
